01What it’s built on
The system.
Everything Certeza runs on, and what each part does.
Built by Certeza
The Surface
A customisable, interactive workspace built specifically for your business.
Reads and records

Supabase
Managed PostgreSQL. The database your record is stored in, in AWS eu-west-2.

Anthropic · Claude
The reasoning model Certeza currently runs on. It reads the record and answers against it. The system is the architecture around it.

DigitalOcean
The server the capture code runs on, in London.
The code and the run

Python
The capture code. It fetches what arrives and stores it.

Docker
Containers, so every run is identical and repeatable.

GitHub
Version control. Every change to the code is recorded and reversible.

Doppler
Secrets manager. It holds the credentials for the systems Certeza connects to.

Healthchecks
Job monitoring. It alerts the moment a scheduled run misses.
02Migration and onboarding
It starts with how you work now.
Certeza uses the systems you already have in place, and connects them.
We look first
How the business operates, what it runs on, and where the work actually goes.
We connect
Whatever you run on is integrated as it is, and stays where it is.
We upgrade
Where a change would work better, we say what and why, and stage it around your work.
03Data and access
Certeza is the processor. You are the controller.
Access is granted one system at a time, and scoped before anything starts.
Scoped at the source
If the office mailbox is in and your personal one is out, it only ever sees the office one.
Separate database
A separate instance per client, with its own credentials.
No training
Client data never trains any model, including one working for you.
Encrypted
AES-256 at rest in the record, TLS in transit on every hop.
Recorded access
Access is scoped and recorded, and you can revoke it. Every action on your record leaves a trace.
Record on exit
Raw records are standard Postgres and export whole, every event with its date, source and hash.
One cost builds it: the record, the rulings, the migration and the onboarding. The other is a monthly service for the servers, subscriptions and models it runs on, and for keeping it maintained, supported and improved.
