01The surface

One screen, and everything on it is there for a reason.

What reaches you is what the Certeza Clerk decided you needed to see today.

MERRICK · COPPER & RYE · THREE VENUES
The Copper and Rye surface stacked for a phone: the brand bar, the Today, Cards, Planner and Financials views, the Overview and venue tabs, filters for three Action, two Waiting, one Parked and six Done today items, then Cards, Latest, Next ten days, Financials and Planner, each showing what was captured, where it came from and what is still awaited. Invented names and figures.

Copper & Rye is an illustrative example. Cards, widgets, calendars, tabs and colours are all built to the business they belong to.

02The agents

Six work the record. You speak to one.

The Clerk is the one you talk to. It gives the other five their instructions.

Watcher
Follows commitments and events, identifies discrepancies and changes, and alerts you.
Librarian
Reads everything that arrives and files it where it can be found again.
Runner
The messenger. Asks the questions you put to the record, sends messages on your behalf, and brings back the answers.
Analyst
Compares contracts and documents, tracks the financials, and does the administrative work that protects the margin.
Maker
Drafts emails, tender responses, copy, marketing and social content. Produces images.
Certeza Clerk
The orchestrator. It does the reasoning and decides what happens, then instructs the other five. It is the only one that writes to your surface.
03An example of workflow output

Every figure arrives with its receipts.

The Job financials workflow output for Kiln Quarter, an invented fixed-fee commission, stacked for a phone: the basis it worked to, the fee and agreed extras, progress and the client account, the costs tagged to the commission, the projected outturn, where every figure was read from, and the three things it could not establish.

Kiln Quarter is an illustrative example. The commission, the figures and the documents in it are invented. Every figure rests on the commercial basis stated at the top: change the basis and the same documents mean something else.
